Finding Reference
To begin the Casa Balla brochure project, i start from a research phase, seeking out ideas, inspirations, and artworks that could guide the creation of the flyer. I explored a wide range of sources, including previous works, historical and contemporary color palettes, and the unique characteristics of Giacomo Balla’s art. This phase was crucial to ensure that the final design was not only aesthetically pleasing but also respectful and representative of the artistic legacy of the residence.
Designing and Creating
After completing the research phase, I moved on to constructing the brochure. I started by designing the layout and creating initial sketches to visualize the structure of the flyer. Next, I created an illustration of the house’s floor plan, integrating it into the design to provide a clear and detailed view of the residence. I used various patterns inspired by Balla’s art and selected fonts that reflected the same style, enriching the different sections of the brochure. Finally, I selected and positioned various objects from the house, gathered during the research phase, ensuring each page was harmonious and visually appealing.
