For this project, I designed three covers as part of a book series titled “Le Storie Vere”. The chosen books are “Into the Wild”, “The Pianist”, and “A Beautiful Mind”, trying to reflect the authentic and real essence of the stories told in these books.

Illustrations
First, I focused on how to graphically represent the covers. I didn’t conduct a thorough image research, but instead, I chose to try to “illustrate” the covers based on what each individual story conveyed to me. This approach was challenging for me, as I had never tried something like this before. Everything was created from scratch in Illustrator.
Defining Layout
After completing the illustrations, I began designing the cover layouts. I selected fonts that reflected the tone and atmosphere of each book, and worked on alignments and element placements to create a balanced and harmonious design. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure the covers were visually appealing and effectively communicated the book’s theme.
